Volunteer for Republican Pauline Gonzalez Stenberg for LB School Board

Pauline is running to fill the spot left open by Michael Ellis. The special election is December 29, 2009. There are 5 candidates in the race. Pauline is the only Republican running.

She needs walkers to cover the District. She has been walking but has had little help. We think this is going to be a close race and she has a very good

chance of winning. She would appreciate anybody that could come out and walk on December 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19 ,20, 21, 28.

We are meeting at the Von’s parking lot at 600 E. Broadway on the above dates at 10:00 a.m. All the material and information will be given out at that time.

Pauline Gonzalez Stenberg was CEO of her family business for 17 years. In that time she tripled the size of her business. She has all of the qualifications and experience of a successul CEO that she can bring to the School Board. Since she does not come from an educational background, she would also provide a much needed breathe of fresh air.

Pauline Gonzalez Stenberg came to this country in 1955 from Cuba not knowing a word of English.

Pauline Gonzalez Stenberg has lived in Long Beach for 44 years and has raised two children in the LBUSD. She held many positions at all the schools her two sons attended including PTA President….twice, along with District positions.

Pauline Gonzalez Stenberg understands what it’s like to be a minority and what it takes to succeed as a minority and what minority parents have to sacrifice so their children can have a good education.

Pauline Gonzalez Stenberg has the endorsement of the most beloved and revered politician in Long Beach, ex-mayor Beverly O’Neill. She also has the endorsement of three of the four LBUSD School Board Members - Mary Stanton, President, Felton Williams, Vice President, and Jon Meyer, Board Member.

Does our Legislature have too much time to pass frivolous legislation that has turned our state upside down? Ms. Holt will give a history of our State Legislature and how we got into today’s economic downward spiral.
